MOTES RESIDENCE
JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA
Phase one includes a 3 car garage and second floor guest house. The masonry structure will be clad in natural stone and wood lap siding. Phase two, consisting of a 50′ river room and related support areas, was completed in 2010.





GREGG RESIDENCE
ASPEN, COLORADO
South Elevation
This mountain cabin was built as a family retreat. Concept design services were provided for the 6000 gsf residence. Construction documents and administration were provided in collaboration with Kim Raymond Architects of Aspen. Construction completed in 2002.






Phase two of an oceanfront residence renovation consists of 2695 GSF of renovated area. The new enclosure of siding, windows and doors will withstand 140 mph winds. Construction complete Summer 2008.
JOHNSON RESIDENCE
JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA
This residence originally designed by master architect Taylor Hardwick, was extensively renovated in 1986. All rooms were re-finished and rebuilt, including new room design and lighting, to be sympathetic to the original design.


FERNANDINA BEACH, FLORIDA
The project was designed for Amelia Park, a traditional neighborhood development. The cottages, twelve in all, differentiate in plan and have unique façade designs. Construction was completed in 2003.

SEA COLONY HOUSE
ST. AUGUSTINE BEACH, FLORIDA
This two-story, 3700 square foot, residence is located in the St. Augustine Beach community Sea Colony. It is a three bedroom home with two full baths and two half baths. It includes a den overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, two balconies, a large front deck and a two and a half story tower. It has a covered second story walk connecting the home to a garage with a second story recreation room and bath, as well as an additional balcony. Construction completed in 2007.

APPEN-WIEST RESIDENCE
PONTE VEDRA, FLORIDA
This project is a two-story addition to the existing 3000 gsf residence. The residence has been completely renovated, including new mechanical, electrical and lighting systems, as wells as extensive façade redesign, including a wood shingle veneer.
APPEN POOLHOUSE
PONTE VEDRA, FLORIDA
Four years after the completion of the main house, the client commissioned a pool and pool house addition to create a new outdoor room that compliments the residence. Work complete 2008. Interior design provided by Amanda Webster Design.



SCHULTZ RESIDENCE
JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA
This new 3500 gsf residence is located in the historic Avondale neighborhood. The two-story home is reminiscent of the “Prairie School” character of the neighborhood. The site is developed with a detached garage, private garden and pool in the rear yard. Construction was completed in 1992.
FLETCHER ADDITION
ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA
This two-story space served as a unique foyer/family room link between a one-story cottage and a two-story detached garage structure. Construction was completed in 1984.
MCGUINNESS RESIDENCE
ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA
This existing oceanfront residence was completely renovated including interior room reconfiguration. This structure was raised four feet to facilitate beach view over the dune. Construction was completed in 2002.
KNUDSEN RESIDENCE
NEPTUNE BEACH, FLORIDA
The oceanfront renovation to an ordinary brick ranch house. This project is an extreme rebuild of the structure and systems including east and west deck/balcony additions. Construction was completed in 1996.



DUNLAP RESIDENCE
JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA
This project, a single family “prarie-style” dwelling was conceived with the spirit of architecture in context. The goal was to construct an individual home, while adhering to the value and concerns of the surrounding community. Construction was completed in 1987.
JAWITZ RESIDENCE
NEPTUNE BEACH, FLORIDA
This addition to a 1927 cottage included a two-story garage apartment, a kitchen/dining area and a master suite. The shingle clad/stucco exterior is characteristic of the historic neighborhood east of Third Street. Construction was completed in 1995
ALMAND RESIDENCE
ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA
A new 3500 gsf residence was completed for the Almand family in 1992. The project typifies the traditional beach model, with wood shingle siding, a tin roof and a characteristic detached garage.
WILLIAMS RESIDENCE
JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA
This 4200 gsf new residence is based on the work of Addison Misner and is sited on an isle overlooking the Ortega River. Documents completed 1986.
ATLANTIC BEACH STUDY
ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA
The client was interested in mid-century modern design for the 1800 gsf oceanfront residence. The butterfly roof line organized the primarily glass facade enclosure. Project unbuilt.

SHEA RESIDENCE
VILANO BEACH, FLORIDA
This 1992 project is a new oceanfront residence consisting of 2400 gsf and three stories. It is typical of the shingle clad, tin roof beach houses built in the 1930’s. Contract documents complete.
ONG RESIDENCE
JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA
East Entry Elevation
The Ong Residence consists of 10,000 gsf on two floors, and includes a two-story accessory building on a 2.3 acre riverfront site. The project is characteristic of an Italian Tuscan villa and combines stucco, cast stone, wrought iron, casement windows, and a clay tile roof into a spectacular home on the river. The project was built by master builders Whitehurst Construction over a two year period, completed in 2001.




SAN JUAN AVENUE TRIPLEX
ST. AUGUSTINE, FLORIDA
This three-story triplex located in the Avondale/Ortega area contains a 1550 square foot, three bedroom, two bath condo on each story. Each condo has a balcony and covered deck. Construction to begin Summer 2006.
MAIN STREET LOFTS
JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA
This three building complex, originally designed by Henry Klutho in the 1930’s, is a renovation of a office building, a warehouse and storage facility. It will contain 25 residential lofts and five ground floor office/retail units. The residential lofts vary from one to two story units and utilize the 20 foot ceiling heights of the third floor in the warehouse to provide additional mezzanine levels. The project will restore the facade back to resemble its appearance in the 1930’s when the building was operating as the Claude Nolan car dealership. Project Unbuilt.

AB HOUSE
ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA
